Quick Recovery will perform a quick scan of the selected volume (drive). This option is very efficient and will give you almost all the deleted data in a few moments. Quick recovery can be performed on only one drive at a time. You can recover data from existing volumes, lost volumes and even raw drives.
Deleted Recovery will list files that were deleted from the media (hard drive or CD/DVD drive). The benefit of this option is that it will only list deleted files. Everything else will be omitted.
Advanced Recovery will give you more options than Quick Recovery while essentially doing the same task. If a drive was deleted or corrupted in a different format than the current format, you may want to use the Advanced Recovery option. Supported file systems include FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, exFAT, NTFS and NTFSS.
Raw Recovery makes use of file signatures in order to recover data from a raw partition. It will scan every bit of the partition and will try to identify and recover data according to the file signatures available in the software.
The CD/DVD Recovery and Photo Recovery options work very similar to the Drive Recovery option but are specialized for UDF file systems and image-only files respectively.
The Recovery ProcessSince the Drive Recovery, CD/DVD Recovery and Photo Recovery work in a similar manner, we will only go through the Drive Recovery option. You can follow the same steps for other recoveries.
1. Open Stellar Phoenix Windows Data Recovery Professional software
2. Select the volume or partition that you want to recover
3. Select one of the recovery options
4. If you select the Quick Recovery option, it will start scanning the partition instantly and will display a tree of folders and files that are being retrieved. Please note that it may take some time (even for Quick Recovery) to complete depending upon the partition size and deleted data to be recovered.
5. After scanning is completed, you will be presented with the recovered folder structure. The interface is just like the list view of Windows Explorer
Raw Data Recovery works in a very similar fashion. You have to select Raw Recovery instead of Quick Recovery to start scanning for raw partitions.
Recovering dataWhen you are done with the scanning task, there are two options available for you to recover the deleted files and folders. Either select each and every file and folder of our choice to recover or create a recovery image of the scanned data so that you may be able to load the same data again instantly and recover files afterwards.
When you have completed the scanning process, select the files and folders you want to recover and press the Recover button. This will display the data saving options. You can either recover to a local drive or an FTP location. You can also compress the recovered files by zipping them to save space.

As a response to these attacks, Microsoft has released several Exchange Server updates, so have them installed as soon as they become available.
How can I protect Exchange Servers from Hafnium attacks? 1. Run the Microsoft On-Premises Mitigation ToolThe Exchange On-Premises Mitigation Tool (EOMT) is a tool released by Microsoft that is meant to combat common vulnerabilities exploited by the Hafnium group, and it works with MS Exchange 2023, 2023, and 2013.
The main purpose of this tool is to check whether your Exchange Server is vulnerable to CVE-2023-26855, and you can use it as follows:
Download the EOMT tool
Extract the content of the Security folder to a location of your choosing
Press Windows and open PowerShell with administrator rights
Via PowerShell, go to the extracted folder location

3. Restore your Exchange server mailboxes data via a backupIf the preventive measures came too late and your company’s Exchange servers were already attacked, damaged, and rendered useless by Hafnium, you can use the RecoverServer switch to get all of the data back.

Note: This solution only works if the Windows Server and Exchange versions are the same as the new server or else there may be compatibility issues.

Oneplus X Twrp Recovery
The recently launched OnePlus X, a semi-budget device from the makers of the original Flagship killer, has now gotten itself an unofficial build of TWRP recovery.
Since this is an unofficial build of TWRP recovery for the OnePlus X, don’t expect it to be fully functional. However, the basics of TWRP recovery like flashing a zip file, taking nandroid backup and using MTP while in recovery, of course works well even on this early and unofficial OnePlus X TWRP build.
What you need to get TWRP recovery installed on your OnePlus X is just an unlocked bootloader, which is very likely supported under your device’ warranty, thanks to the humble warranty policy OnePlus usually follows for its devices.
Supported devices
OnePlus X, codename onyx
Don’t try this one any other device with codename different than above!
Important: Check your device’s codename on free Android app called Droid Info. If you see the codename mentioned above in the app, then use this recovery, otherwise not. BTW, you can check codename device’s packaging box too.

Step-by-step Guide
Step 1. Unlock bootloader of your OnePlus X. For this, use the procedure given at our Nexus 6P bootloader unlock guide, as the procedure is exactly same.

Step 2. Install ADB drivers.
Step 3. On your OnePlus X, enable USB debugging. For this:
Go back to Settings, then choose ‘Developer options’. Find the ‘USB debugging’ option and use its toggle button to enable it. Accept warning by tapping on OK button.
Step 4. Connect your OnePlus X to PC now. You will get a pop-up as shown below on your phone when you connect for the first time after enabling USB debugging. Select ‘Always allow from this computer’ checkbox and then tap on OK button.
Step 5. Download the OnePlus X TWRP recovery from above.

→ Upon running command below, you should get a serial no. with fastboot written after it. If you don’t get fastboot written on cmd window, then it means you need to reinstall adb and fastboot drivers, or change restart PC, or use original USB cable.
fastboot devicesStep 10. Flash OnePlus X TWRP recovery now. Use the following command for that.
fastboot flash recovery onyx-twrp.imgStep 11. TWRP recovery will now be installed on your OnePlus X. When done, reboot into recovery mode. For this, use the following command.
fastboot boot onyx-twrp.imgAlternative way to reboot into recovery mode is to power off the device first. And then press and hold Volume down + power button fo 4-5 seconds.

List Device Names, Disk And Partition Information In Linux With Lsblk
On Linux, you sometimes need to work with disks and/or partitions directly from the command line. Often, you actually want to perform actions on the filesystems, but you do so by specifying the partitions where they are stored. On the command line, you refer to these by using their device names (for example, “/dev/sda3”).
On systems with many disks, partitions, optical drives, and USB drives, it can be hard to identify the device name assigned to each of them.
What Does the lsblk Command Do?lsblk displays information about storage devices. The utility is most often used to identify the correct device name to be passed to a subsequent command.
Most of the time, lsblk without any additional parameter, suffices to help identify the disk or partition you want to work with. From the picture above, for example, I can tell that “sda4” is a Windows partition, but that’s because I know its size is approximately 200GB. However, if you have two or more partitions of the same size, things may get more confusing. In other cases you may simply not know or remember the size of a particular disk or partition on your system.
On Linux, it’s dangerous to confuse device names, as you may destroy or corrupt useful data with a wrong command.
Useful lsblk ParametersBy default, lsblk displays just a few properties, as you saw in the picture above. But, if you add parameters to the command, you can make it output additional device properties. This, in turn, makes it much easier to identify the disk or partition you are looking for.
Find Out If It’s an SSD or Hard-Disk (HDD)To see what extra columns lsblk can display, enter the following:
lsblk--help
In this scenario you will use ROTA and DISC-GRAN. ROTA tells you if a block device belongs to a rotational storage device. Hard disks are rotational, so the column outputs “1” besides them (binary logical value meaning “true”). DISC-GRAN shows you the discard granularity. SSDs support discard to free up unused data blocks. Hard disks do not support this feature, since they don’t need it, so this column will display a zero value for them (“0B,” meaning discard granularity of zero bytes).
Show Filesystems Stored on Disks/PartitionsWhen you see a list of partitions, you might be able to tell what each of them stores, based on their sizes alone. When this is not enough, you can make lsblk output filesystems, too. It’s much easier to identify partitions this way because:
Windows uses the NTFS filesystem
Linux usually uses ext4
A USB device uses FAT, FAT32 (vfat) or NTFS
The EFI boot partition is usually very small and shows a vfat filesystem on it
Also, add the LABEL output column, which can help if partitions have been labeled when created/formatted.
