Great battery lifeCons
Powerful models are very expensiveOur Verdict
The Surface Laptop 4 meets most of the criteria for a great thin and light laptop, but then so did its predecessor. A lack of upgrades may frustrate prospective buyers, and better value for money will be found elsewhere for more expensive models.Best Prices Today: Microsoft Surface Laptop 4
Microsoft’s Surface range has become the default for Windows 10 PCs, so it’s hard to believe the first Surface Laptop was released as recently as 2023. That original device didn’t reinvent the wheel when it comes to thin and light laptops, but ticked a lot of boxes for most people.
The Surface Laptop line has been refined and tweaked since then, although rivals typically provide better value for money. Microsoft is hoping that’s changed on the Surface Laptop 4, which now offers a choice between AMD and Intel chips on both 13.5- and 15in models. Battery life has also been improved, but is the Laptop 4 a wise choice as we enter a new era for Windows PCs? Here’s my full review.Design & Build
Relatively unchanged design
Alcantara interior available on 13.5in model
Great for video calls
The Surface Laptop 4 looks a lot like its predecessor, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Many people will be hoping for more than this iterative update, but the tried and trusted design will still appeal to newcomers. Its stripped-back, minimalist design language still hits the spot for me personally, even if it’s beginning to look dated.
However, if you’re looking for standout design features, you’ll be disappointed. Aside from the Microsoft logo on the back, it’s hard to tell the Surface Laptop 4 apart from the wealth of other Windows laptops. That’s especially true on the generic-looking Platinum model I tested, although the Matte Black, Sandstone and Ice Blue alternatives help it stand out more.
Regardless of the colour you choose, the outside of the device won’t be your main focus. Flipping the Surface Laptop 4 open (possible using just one finger) reveals the main event – the display.
It’s available in 13.5- and 15in sizes once again, and Microsoft has stuck with the increasingly popular 3:2 aspect ratio. I’ll talk about how it performs in more detail later.
Below you’ll find a full-size keyboard, albeit without a separate number pad. It’s not quite best-in-class when it comes to laptop keyboards, but offers a good amount of travel without the loud clacky noise you’ll get with mechanical keys. I had no problems typing away on it for a full workday.
The Alcantara fabric covering remains exclusive to the smaller device. This suede-like synthetic material is also used on the Surface Pro Signature Type Covers and provides a comfortable place to rest your hands. It’s not quite as practical when it comes to accidental spillages, though. If you’re keen on more screen real estate, the 15in model’s metal finish will be very familiar.
One thing you won’t find on the Laptop 4 is a fingerprint scanner. This is disappointing on a device that most people will pay four figures for, especially when many cheaper laptops support the feature. It means you’ll have to rely on the IR-enabled Windows Hello face unlock, although this was easy to enroll and fairly reliable.
The 720p front-facing camera hasn’t received any upgrades on the Surface Laptop 4, but it maintains decent colour accuracy and does a good job with exposure. Given 1080p built-in sensors still aren’t standard, it remains one of the best laptop webcams around. Combined with dual studio mics, the video calling experience on the Laptop 4 is excellent.
Unfortunately, those three sensors are located within some fairly chunky bezels. The relatively low 80.9% screen-to-body ratio isn’t a dealbreaker, but I was hoping for a more modern design.
The Laptop 4 also benefits from a Dolby Atmos-enabled speaker system. Audio from the device delivers excellent clarity, even at high volumes, but struggles for bass. As a result, it’s generally more effective on voices than music.
Unfortunately, there’s another noise you’ll regularly hear during your time with the Surface Laptop 4 – the fans. This is a perfectly acceptable cooling method while carrying out demanding tasks, but it gets loud here even with regular everyday use. With some modern laptops offering near-silent operation, it becomes a little grating.
One area I was hoping for upgrades was ports. Microsoft’s selection of one USB-A, one USB-C and 3.5mm headphone jack is fairly typical by thin and light laptop standards, but it still means you’ll need an adapter from time to time.
Microsoft did finally embrace USB-C on the Surface Laptop 3, but it still uses the proprietary Surface Connect port for charging. Magnetically attaching the cable is fiddly and annoying, and can get in the way if your power source is to the left of where you’re working.Display
Still one of the best around
Missing some high-end features
The Surface Laptop 4’s display deserves its own section, even if there are no upgrades over the Laptop 3. The 13.5in model I tested has a 2256×1504 resolution, while the 15in variant bumps this up to 2496×1664.
As is usually the case with the Surface Laptop line, it’s a real highlight. Colours are rich and vibrant, and it offers an excellent level of detail. From my tests using the SpyderX Elite, it covers 98% of the sRGB colour gamut, alongside 74% of Adobe RGB and 73% of DCI-P3. That’s some way short of best-in-class, but colour accuracy is still one of the Laptop 4’s strengths.
Brightness performance is more middle of the road. A maximum of 389 nits means using it in most indoor environments is fine, but you’ll probably struggle outside.
However, it’s missing a couple of features that are beginning to make their way into consumer-focused laptops. Microsoft describes the Surface Laptop 4’s display as ‘PixelSense’, but the key thing to know here is that it’s LCD and not OLED. The latter is capable of better contrast and more vivid colours, although it does usually deplete battery life more quickly.
Another thing I would like to see is a high refresh rate. The feature is increasingly common on modern laptops, although the Pro-level Surface Book line may be the first Microsoft PC to get this feature.Hardware & Performance
Choice between latest Intel or older AMD CPUs
Benchmarks suggest AMD comes out on top
The Surface Laptop 4’s most significant change comes under the hood, with a shift to 11th-gen Tiger Lake processors. However, Microsoft is now letting you choose between the latest Intel silicon and AMD’s Ryzen 4000 Series. The latter is supposedly a ‘Surface Edition’, but it’s not clear why Microsoft hasn’t used the latest Ryzen 5000 Series.
PCWorld used a Ryzen 7 model instead. As you’ll see below, benchmarks suggest the AMD processors have a slight upper hand, with both featuring 16GB of RAM:
Nonetheless, I was still impressed with the performance from the i7 model. It can handle multiple open windows, multitasking and editing software with relative ease, although you’d probably expect that from this £1,649/US$1,699.99 configuration. A comparison with other high-end laptops reflects this:
The Surface Laptop 4 isn’t pitched as a gaming device, but it is capable of playing basic games with relative ease. Unfortunately, that doesn’t quite stretch to AAA titles, which put too much of a strain on the Iris Xe integrated graphics for it to handle. The 3DMark test indicated it could run Battlefield V at over 35fps, but it’s not a device we’d recommend for serious gamers.
The standard Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 support is, although I was hoping for LTE connectivity of some sort. I’m not expecting 5G, but the business-focused Surface Pro 7+ definitely benefits from having 4G on board.Software
Runs Windows 10 Home out of the box
Eligible for free Windows 11 upgrade
There’s usually not much to say when it comes to Windows laptops and software, but that’s all changed since the announcement of Windows 11. Microsoft’s new OS has a very different look and feel to Windows 10, as well as new multitasking features and native support for Android apps via the Amazon Appstore. The Surface Laptop 4 meets all the hardware requirements, meaning it’ll be eligible for a free upgrade in 2023.
If you’re considering the Surface Laptop 4, the fact it runs Windows 10 Home out of the box isn’t a reason not to buy it. Microsoft is highly unlikely to update the Surface Laptop line until mid-2023 at the earliest, and you’ll get Windows 11 as soon as it’s available.Battery life
Excellent battery life
Charging still not the fastest
Battery life is one of the key areas of improvement on the Surface Laptop 4. Microsoft says all models have cells between 45.8Wh and 47.4Wh, which doesn’t sound particularly impressive. However, the company now claims all configurations will get you at least 16.5 hours on a single charge.
The i7 model I tested is quoted at 17 hours of ‘typical device usage’, although it’s not clear exactly what this involves. With the brightness set to 120 nits, I recorded exactly 16 hours in our 720p video loop test – that’s well above average. It dropped to 11:38 at 200 nits with a 4K video playing, but will still comfortably get you through a full workday.
Unfortunately, the charging situation isn’t quite so impressive. The Laptop 4 persists with Microsoft’s Surface Connect port, with the USB-C port used only for data transfer. It attaches magnetically but is fiddly and annoying to use, even if it does keep the USB-C port free. It also doesn’t charge very quickly – I recorded 31% in 30 minutes from off.Price & Availability
You can pay as much as £2,399/US$2,399.99 for the top-spec model, but most people don’t need that much power. See the full range from the official Microsoft UK and Microsoft US sites, but the best price currently can be found at Amazon UK.
Those cheaper models put it roughly in line with many of the best laptops you can buy, including the Dell XPS 13, Huawei MateBook X Pro and Apple’s latest M1 MacBook Air. All three of those devices bring something different to the table, but the Surface Laptop 4 is still able to hold its own.
From my time with the device, I’d say cheaper models Surface Laptop 4 are accurately priced. However, rival devices offer better value for money higher up the line, so it’s hard to justify dropping over £1,500/US$1,500 on one of these, but it still feels well future-proofed.Verdict
The Surface Laptop 4 is a cautious upgrade from Microsoft, but it still hits the mark in a number of key areas.
Performance is solid across all models with a choice of AMD or Intel for starters. Battery life is excellent and the display remains solid. You still don’t get premium features like a high refresh rate, OLED or LTE connectivity, but these aren’t dealbreakers for most people.
Ultimately, if you’re looking for a solid everyday laptop that will serve you for years to come, the Surface Laptop 4 is a great option – particularly at the more affordable end of the range.

Machine learning is a discipline of computer science which investigates the analysis and structure of algorithms that can learn from information, according to which they may make predictions. It’s used in several programs like self-driven automobiles, effective Internet search, speech recognition, etc.. Classic programming techniques assume that you know the issue clearly and, with that knowledge, will compose a collection of clear directions to resolve this specific issue or to perform a specific job. Examples for these forms of problems/tasks are numerous; in reality, the majority of the apps are composed with very clear expectations of input, output signal along with a fantastic algorithm for the procedure — for example, sorting of amounts, eliminating a specific series in a text file, copying a document, etc..
But, there’s a specific class of problems that conventional problem-solving or programming methods won’t be of much use. By way of instance, let us assume you have about 50,000 files which need to be categorized into particular categories like sports, business and entertainment — without going through every one of these. Or consider another example of looking for a specific thing in tens of thousands of pictures. In the latter scenario, the thing could be photographed in another orientation, or under different lighting conditions. How do you tell which pictures include the thing? Another very helpful case in point is of constructing an internet payment gateway and needing to stop fraudulent transactions. 1 method is to identify indications of possibly fraudulent transactions and triggering alarms before the trade is complete. Just how would you call this correctly without creating unnecessary alerts?
Since you can readily imagine, it is impossible to write quite exact calculations for all those issues. What we can do is to create systems which work like an individual specialist. A physician can tell what disorder a specific patient has by taking a look at the evaluation reports. As soon as it is not feasible to allow him to make a precise identification 100 percent of their moment, he’ll be right most times. Nobody programmed the physician, but he learned those things by analyzing and by expertise.Machine learning and mathematics
While the illustration of this physician might be somewhat different from real machine learning, the core concept of machine learning is that machines can learn from big data collections and they improve as they gain expertise. As information comprises randomness and doubt, we are going to have to employ concepts from probability and statistics. In reality, machine learning algorithms are so determined by concepts from data that a lot of men and women refer to system learning as statistical understanding. Aside from figures, another important branch of math that is very much in usage is linear algebra. Concepts of matrices, options for systems of equations and optimisation calculations — all play significant roles in machine learning.Machine studying and Big Data
There are essentially two kinds of machine learning – supervised learning and unsupervised learning. Supervised learning identifies information with tags, examples of which are displayed below:
Let us presume that we must forecast whether it rains in the day, using wind and temperature information. Whether it rains or not will be saved in the column in the day, which becomes the tag.
The algorithms which learn from these data are known as supervised learning algorithms. Though some information can be extracted/generated mechanically, such as in a system log, frequently it might need to be tagged manually, which might raise the price of information acquisition.
We could even classify machine learning algorithms utilizing another logic — regression calculations and classification algorithms. Regression calculations are machine learning algorithms which in fact forecast amount’ — such as the subsequent day’s temperature, the stock market’s closing indicator, etc.. Classification algorithms are the ones which could classify an input signal, such as if it is going to rain or notify the stock exchange will shut negative or positive; if it’s disease x, illness y, or disorder, etc.
Top 10 Best Artificial Intelligence Software
It is important to comprehend and love that machine learning algorithms are essentially mathematical calculations and we can execute them in almost any language we enjoy. However, the one I like and use a great deal is the R language. There are lots of popular machine learning modules or modules in various languages. Weka is strong machine learning applications written in Java and is extremely common. Scikit-learn is a favorite among Python programmers. An individual may also choose the Orange machine learning toolbox accessible in Python. While Weka is so strong, it’s some permit issues for industrial usage. Though growth seems to have ceased, it’s an adequate library worth attempting and with sufficient documentation/tutorials to begin easily. I’d recommend people with innovative should learn more about the profound learning algorithms.

Today, the service supports many digital film stores and some TV and internet services. Here’s what you need to know about Movies Anywhere and how you can sign up to use this handy service.
What is Movies Anywhere?
As we mentioned earlier, Movies Anywhere is a Disney-controlled digital movie locker service. It enables supported digital films to be synced up to several online storefronts when they are purchased. Comcast cable TV customers can also watch them on their set-top box with its Xfinity service. In addition, there are apps for the service that are available for a variety of platforms, and you can also watch all of your supported films on the web via the Movies Anywhere website.Where is the service available?
At the moment, Movies Anywhere is strictly for US consumers. There’s no word if Disney plans to expand the service to other parts of the world.
No. Movies Anywhere is not a storefront all by itself. It’s a service that serves to sync up your movie purchases from several different storefronts. For example, if you buy Avengers: Endgame on iTunes, the film will now also appear automatically in any of the other supported digital storefronts that are linked to your Movies Anywhere account.
Here’s the current list of digital storefronts that you can link together with your Movies Anywhere account?
iTunes – Apple’s digital movie store.
Google Play Store – The Android-based digital film source from Google.
YouTube – Also owned by Google; any movie purchased on Google Play Store also shows up on your YouTube movie library, and vice versa, regardless if they support Movies Anywhere.
Amazon Prime Video – The digital storefront owned, obviously, by Apple.
Microsoft Movies & TV – The storefront owned by Microsoft is mainly for Windows 10 and Xbox users.
Vudu – Fandango owns this storefront.
Xfinity – This is just for Comcast cable TV customers.
Verizon FiOS – Subscribers of Verizon’s FiOS Internet and TV series can use it.
DirecTV – For users of AT&T’s satellite TV service. What movie studios don’t currently support Movies Anywhere?
As of this writing, Paramount, Lionsgate, and MGM/UA are not supporting the service. That means if you want to buy a Star Trek, Transformers, Hunger Games, Twilight, or James Bond film on one of the Movies Anywhere-supported storefronts, they won’t automatically show up in the rest of your libraries. Hopefully, their boycott of this service will end shortly.Do any TV shows support Movies Anywhere?
The answer, oddly enough, is, “Mostly, no.” As the name suggests, Movies Anywhere is supposed to be a movies-only digital locker service, so if you buy a season of your favorite TV show, even if it comes from one of the supported Hollywood studios, it will stay in the storefront where you bought it. That being said, a minimal number of TV miniseries and movies are indeed supported by the service.
Amazon Fire TV/Fire tablets
NVIDIA Shield TV
Roku-based TVs/set-top boxes and sticks
Microsoft’s Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X consoles
In addition, you can watch your library of films at the service’s website on your Windows or Mac PC. It supports Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge browsers. Linux-based PCs do not support the Movies Anywhere site.
If each person on the same account is watching a different movie, the Movies Anywhere website or app allows up to four simultaneous streams at once. It also supports up to two simultaneous streams of the same movie at once on one account. Keep in mind that your movie library can also be streamed on all of the supported digital storefronts as well, just in case four streams at once is not enough.Does the Movies Anywhere app support 4K and/or HDR streaming?
If you bought a 4K digital movie, it will stream at that resolution on the app, assuming your device or platform can support it. However, the app currently only supports movies with the HDR10 standard. It does not support movies that use the competing Dolby Vision HDR standard. Can I continue watching a film on Movies Anywhere where I left off on another device?
Yes, you can! If you watch a film on, say, the Roku app and stop in the middle, you can continue where you ended in the movie on, for example, the Android Movies Anywhere app.
After you log into your Movies Anywhere account, you can view which movies are available to share via Screen Pass. Just go to your My Movie section, and then you can see the My Screen Pass Eligible Movies list.
Pick the film you want to share with someone else, and on its details page, tap on the Screen Pass button.
After that, follow the screen instructions to send the movie you picked to someone else so they can watch it for free.
You also have the option of sending your entire list of eligible Screen Pass movies to someone, so they can pick which one they watch to watch for free.
After that, follow the screen instructions to send your Screen Pass movie list to someone else so they can pick and watch one for free.
The company says about 80% of the Movies Anywhere library will support Screen Pass; some studios will not allow certain titles to be loaned out, at least for now. The loaned movies can be watched on every Movies Anywhere app, except for the Roku version, although Movies Anywhere may fix that soon.

The RTX 4070 laptop GPU is not the most powerful GPU on the market but they still pack a punch. They are also relatively cheaper than the flagship RTX 4080 variants.
According to Nvidia, the RTX 4070 laptops will be a game changer, as they deliver up to RTX 3080 flagship-level performance with one-third of the power. The thinness, acoustics, and thermals are all improved. All this being considered, they are definitely worth buying if you’re after high-end gaming but don’t want to spend too much money.
It’s been almost 40 years since the start of the AIDS epidemic, when hundreds of people began contracting deadly infections that doctors had no idea how to combat. It took until 1983 for researchers to identify the virus that was causing their symptoms: human immunodeficiency virus, or HIV. After years of medical testing, protests, and millions of deaths the world still hasn’t emerged from the epidemic. But it’s getting closer: Since their peak in 2004, AIDS-related deaths have shrunk by over half, and new HIV infections have reduced by 40 percent since 1997.
Safe sex practices and pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) medications have prevented many further infections, and the evolution of antiretroviral (ART) treatments have stalled the virus from replicating in people who already have it. Beyond allowing people with HIV to live completely normal lives, these drugs also prevent them from transmitting the virus to others once they reach an undetectable viral load. But in many communities, people living with undetectable HIV statuses still face stigma that marginalizes them as “dirty” and unsafe to have sex with. Here’s how the science disproves that.
To understand why someone who is HIV positive but whose infection is undetectable can’t transmit HIV to a sexual partner, it’s vital to understand both how the virus itself infects the body and how medications work to combat it. Left unchecked, the HIV virus hijacks CD4 immune cells, a type of white blood cell responsible for fighting off infections, to make more copies of itself. As their viral load (number of virus copies per milliliter of blood) skyrockets, an afflicted person’s number of CD4 cells plummets, leaving them vulnerable to opportunistic infections. Once the CD4 count dips below 200, HIV has caused AIDS.
The first antiretroviral drug used to treat HIV was called AZT. Originally developed in the 1960s as a cancer treatment, AZT interfered with DNA replication in a person’s HIV-infected, CD4 immune cells to prevent the virus from taking over their immune system. But it was also incredibly toxic, causing anemia, nausea, insomnia, and weakened immune systems in many patients. Over the past few decades, researchers have developed antiretrovirals that are far more effective and less damaging, says Christopher Hall, vice president of medical affairs for the San Francisco AIDS Foundation.
“The evolution has been to a pill that is extremely well-tolerated, taken only once a day,” Hall says. “That’s just an incredible development.”
ART medication gives the cells a hand in combating HIV, which prevents it from replicating. A patient’s viral load then begins to decline while their CD4 count returns to normal. Originally, scientists thought that no matter how low their viral load was or how healthy they were, someone living with HIV could still give the virus to a sexual partner. But by 2000, studies began showing that below a certain threshold, that risk was incredibly rare.
While each person diagnosed with HIV has their own treatment timeline, almost all providers will have their patients begin taking ART medication as soon as they’re diagnosed. Hall says that’s a shift from how things used to be: Doctors would wait to determine whether their patients were ready and able to take the drugs (the original meds needed to be taken up to four times a day and caused a slew of side effects).
Because modern-day ART medications have so few drawbacks, a patient can start treatment right after their diagnosis and immediately see their viral load drop. Hall says that’s also important for combating the stigma that HIV is a death sentence, because at this point, it isn’t.
“We want to say, ‘Hey, you can get on top of this right away. This is going to be easy for you to manage, relatively speaking. We’re going to help you,’” Hall says.
Depending on the patient’s condition, they’ll return to the doctor after about a month to discuss how they’re tolerating the medication. The provider will run tests on their kidney and liver function and check for anemia. They’ll also run a viral load test, which scans for any genetic material associated with HIV in the bloodstream to determine the number of virus copies per milliliter of blood. Once the medication has done its work and that number reaches 200 copies per milliliter (usually after about 6 months), a person is considered undetectable.
But why do doctors say “undetectable” if the virus can still be detected by the test? Hall says that’s a function of how specific viral load tests have become over the years. When a test that can only measure as low as 200 copies per milliliter arrives at that result, it’s likely that the patient could have an even lower viral load than that. But because the test can’t measure anything lower than 200, they’re deemed undetectable.
Viral load tests get more specific by the day: Hall says some are still in the works that can get as precise as 1 to 5 copies per milliliter range. The tests he uses in his clinic can see down to 20 copies per milliliter, but he says that doesn’t mean his undetectable patients are more undetectable than those who’ve used the 200 copies per milliliter test.
“There’s some nuances to it,” Hall says.
Two hundred is still the golden number for people living with HIV, because that’s the most specific test that was used in the studies that proved an undetectable person can’t transmit the virus. Hall says below that point, an HIV-negative person with a healthy immune system can easily fight off a couple hundred viruses as opposed to the millions contained in a milliliter of blood from a newly diagnosed person. Our skin and mucous membranes do an excellent job protecting us from invaders, even HIV.
“HIV is inefficient enough that, when present in low numbers, infection can be avoided,” Hall says.
Dave Watt, outreach manager for the Southwest Center for HIV/AIDS, fields all kinds of conspiracy-like questions from folks who are uninformed about HIV, down to whether or not mosquitoes can transmit the virus (they can’t, he says, otherwise everybody would have HIV by now). Over a decade ago, he founded the Friendly campaign, which aims to counteract the fear-based messaging that often surrounds the virus. Even after the CDC formally endorsed the “U=U” campaign (which asserts that undetectable HIV is untransmittable) in 2023, Watt says it can be tough to help people understand that medical truth.
“While science can’t say it’s impossible, that’s just not how science works,” Watt says. “We used to say ‘low risk’ or ‘minimal risk.’ And now the studies have shown that there really is no risk.”
In 2023, the groundbreaking PARTNER study, a large, international research initiative that studied 900 serodiscordant couples (i.e. one partner had an undetectable viral load and the other tested negative for HIV), found that even after multiple years of condomless sex, not one person transmitted the virus to their partner. A number of clinical studies have since verified this, and scientists say the risk of an undetectable person transmitting the virus to their HIV-negative partner is effectively zero.
ART can’t cure HIV—with today’s treatment options, an undetectable person will always test “positive” for the virus. And during the antiretroviral onslaught, the virus will retreat into “sanctuary” areas like the rectum or cervix, allowing it to begin replicating again if the person stops taking the drugs. The ART drugs can’t access those “sanctuary” areas very well, so they can’t eliminate every last virus left. But, when taken diligently, the meds keep HIV so well at bay that, effectively, they may have the potential to end the epidemic without scientists finding a definitive cure.
The concept of treatment as prevention (TasP) emphasizes the importance of immediately treating anyone diagnosed with HIV in order to get them to undetectable status as quickly as possible. Once they become undetectable and continue taking the medications, they’ll be unable to transmit the virus any further. If everyone living with HIV gains access to these lifesaving drugs, they can stop the disease in its tracks. But even when communities do have the resources, fear can stop them from seeking treatment.
Hall says when people fear the consequences of getting HIV and don’t realize that it’s no longer a death sentence, they’re less likely to get tested in the first place. This delay makes their conditions more difficult to treat because the virus has had a longer amount of time to take hold on their immune systems. But telling people that, at the end of the treatment, their risk of infecting others is essentially nonexistent can be a powerful tool in lifting that stigma.
Governments also have to catch up with the science. In the U.S., 29 states have laws that criminalize people living with HIV, whether it’s not disclosing their status to a sexual partner or being punished for physically transmitting the virus to their partners. Nine states have measures that enhance prison sentences for sex crimes when a person living with HIV is involved. In some cases, these sentences may be harsher than ones for murder.
“Stigma continues to be the greatest challenge in ending the epidemic,” Hall says.
